As a business-to-business research company with growth prospects, Metro Research approached new2marketing for a new logo and brand. Being specialised in b2b meant that they were dealing with large corporate firms and wanted a logo that stood out from the competition as well as one that reflected their passion for in-depth research. 

new2marketing’s designers came up with a fresh innovative logo, which depicted the research process as “looking further”. The blurry M coming into focus is an obvious sign of clarity and reveals a dimension to the business which may not have been previously seen. The subtlety of the R only emphasises the fact that research is not always obvious and as the logo becomes more familiar, the R becomes much clearer suggesting evolution and change. 

It was then used for the collateral material including business cards and stationery, and has had a very positive response from clients and suppliers alike. Not only does Metro Research now feel comfortable with their branding, but it provides the image of credibility and trust required by potential clients.
